How can I clear the DNS cache in Opera? (308 views)

11 Jan 2024 14:33

Resolving DNS-related problems and refreshing DNS records can be achieved by clearing the resolver cache in web browsers. Here's a quick tutorial for clearing the resolver cache in the Opera web browser.

1. Open Opera and go to a new tab.

2. Type opera://net-internals/#dns in the address bar and press Enter.

3. Locate the "Clear host cache" button and click on it. This will flush Opera's internal DNS cache.

4. Optionally, clear cached socket pools:

Open a new tab and type opera://net-internals/#sockets.

Click the "Flush socket pools" button.

5. Restart Opera for the changes to take full effect.
